The EGX-30 is as easy to use as a desktop printer. Simply design your badge, nameplate or plaque with Dr. Engrave software. Choose the appropriate tool and Dr. Engrave automatically converts your data to engraving path. Feed rate and spindle RPM can be adjusted with the user-friendly knob on the control panel.

The EGX-30’s low profile, small footprint and amazingly quiet operation make it the perfect desktop engraving device for any office, shop or even the home. Yet it’s 12”x8.13” work area and industry-standard 0.125-inch diameter spindle provide precision performance.
2D Engrave Software
Dr. Engrave gives you the option of using industry standard TrueType fonts. You can also create your own designs or import a Windows bitmap file or Vector Art from Roland. Dr. Engrave features an automatic layout function that allows you to import an Excel database file in CSV format for multiple-plate applications. Dr. Engrave quickly and easily imports your data and permits you to place columns of information into predefined text boxes to produce an entire hospital door-numbering project or nametags for a large company. Compatible with Windows® 95/98/Me/NT4.0 and 2000.
Versatile Tool Options
With the CAMMSCRIBE you have a variety of tool choices right out of the box. You have the option of using an industry standard 1/8" (3.175mm) tool size, plus the ability to use a diamond drag tool.
Wide Variety of Materials
Engrave and scribe on a wide variety of light duty materials. Compatible materials include coated brass (diamond drag) for great looking trophy plates, as well as dual-coated micro-thin plastics (cutting) for professional badges, name plates, key rings, and luggage tags.
